Walnut-Oatmeal Burgers

Walnut-Oatmeal Burgers
Yields 6-8 servings


2½ C. PureLiving Sprouted Rolled Oats or Shiloh Farms Organic Rolled Oats 
1/2 C. PureLiving Sprouted Garbanzo Flour
5.5 oz tomato paste
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 C. water
1/4 tsp. Shiloh Farms Himalayan Pink Salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
2 C. Shiloh Farms Organic Walnuts
2 medium onions, chopped

1/2 C. fresh marjoram or parsley, chopped


1. Combine first 7 ingredients (through black pepper) in food processor and mix thoroughly
2. Add walnuts, onions, and herbs and blend until just combined (add more water as necessary to reach a suitable consistency); taste and adjust seasoning as needed
3. Form into 6-8 patties
4. Grill or pan fry in lightly oiled pan
5. Serve on a whole grain bun or on a bed of lettuce 

1. Substitute an equal amount of chopped peppers or mushrooms for onions.

2. Substitute basil, chervil, chives, or any other fresh herb for the marjoram or parsley.
