Essential Eating Apple Cake
Yields 16 servings


3/4 C. butter
2 large eggs
1 C. Shiloh Farms Organic Maple Sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C. PureLiving Organic Sprouted Hard Wheat Flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp. sea salt
5 C. peeled & chopped apples


1. Preheat oven to 350°
2. Combine butter and eggs in a large bowl; using an electric mixer, beat until creamy
3. Add sugar and vanilla, mixing again until fluffy; set aside
4. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients (through sea salt); stir dry ingredients into the wet a few spoonfuls at a time until just combined
5. Fold in chopped apples and pour into greased 9x13 pan
6. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until golden brown
