Shiloh Farms Cranberry-Orange Chia Seed Jam

Cran-Orange Chia Jam


12 oz cranberries (fresh or frozen)
Zest of 1 large orange (about 2 Tbsp.)
Juice of 1 large orange (about 1/2 C.)
1/4 C. water
Pinch Shiloh Farms Himalayan Pink Salt
3/4 C. Shiloh Farms Organic Maple Sugar (or natural sweetener of choice)
1½ tsp. Shiloh Farms Organic Black Chia Seeds or PureLiving Sprouted Chia Seeds


1. In medium saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients (through salt); bring to low boil
2. Reduce and simmer 10-15 minutes, or until berries have burst and mixture has begun to thicken; stir frequently to prevent sticking
3. Add maple sugar and stir to combine; taste and add more sweetener as needed depending upon the tartness of the berries
4. Cook another 10-15 minutes, or until mixture is reduced slightly
5. Remove from heat and add chia seeds; stir well to incorporate (jam will thicken as it cools)
6. Pour jam into glass jars and allow to cool completely before storing in the refrigerator
