  1. I'm so glad Shiloh Farms makes this!

It's great to see Shiloh Farms selling Fonio that tastes good at an affordable price. This product makes for a versatile meal. I use it to make soups and I think it has a nice taste; comparable to grits.

  2. Great alternative to couscous!

We bought fonio while we were on a special nutritional challenge and were looking for non-wheat products for breakfast. What a pleasant surprise! Fonio is a great, healthy alternative to couscous, with granules so small they look like course sand when they're dry. It cooks incredibly quickly, and you can eat it as a porridge as suggested on the package, although I would recommend mixing it with something thicker than milk, maybe ricotta cheese or yogurt.
