Sprouted Organic Grain bread is a type of bread made from whole organic grains that have been allowed to sprout, that is, to germinate.  Beneficial enzymes are activated which cause the grains to sprout and become a living food.  Sprouting is the only way to release all of the vital nutrients stored in whole grains.

Sprouting also causes a natural change that makes the protein and carbohydrates easier for the body to use. Sprouts are lower in carbohydrates and calories than the grains from which they were sprouted.

FROZEN BREAD SHIPPING NOTICE
This product is frozen when it leaves our facility in New Holland, Pennsylvania. If you wish to receive it frozen, we must ship the product in a freezer box with dry ice. This will add a handling charge of $17.50 for every two cases of bread you order. Frozen bread orders shipped with dry ice are only available in multiples of two cases at a time, and the handling charge is built into the price.

DRY SHIPPING OPTION
If you are within two ground-shipment days from our location as defined on the map below, we can ship it dry (no ice)and it will arrive at your location unfrozen. This will result in a one or two day reduction in normal shelf life. Normal room-temperature shelf life is about one week depending on the temperature and humidity of your home.

When you get your delivery, we recommend that you refreeze the product and keep it frozen until ready to use.

If you are outside our two-day ground shipment delivery area – you must order the dry ice option or use 2^nd Day or Next Day Air. 

If you live outside our two-day ground shipment delivery area - you must order our frozen bread packed in dry ice OR use 2nd Day or Next Day Air.
