The Bee Pollen is collected from different colors and types of flowers making the pollen multi-floral (different colors in the product), The pollen is low moisture (about 4%) and is hand cleaned. Bees use their own honey to create this natural bee pollen. Our domestic bee pollen is raw, enzymes intact and is not heated or dried in any way. It is a living food. Domestic Bee pollen is always kept in cold storage. Bee pollen is often referred to as nature's most complete food.
Bee pollen is the food of the young bee which is high in protein. About half of its protein is in the form of free amino acids that are ready to be used directly by the body. Pure Bee Pollen is gathered from flower pollen. When you buy pollen granules, select the ones with the widest range of colors, which reflects a variety of plant sources and therefore nutrients
How to Use Bee Pollen
Each golden granule is densely packed with live enzymes. Your digestive system may not be accustomed to such intensely rich food. Suggestion: First, it is helpful to test for a possible allergic reaction by ingesting just one pellet. Then introduce bee pollen into your diet slowly.
Proplis is from tree sap that the bees collect and mix with their saliva to cover their hive. There is No proplis in the Shiloh Farms Domestic Bee Pollen.
SUGGESTIONS:
1. Don't cook with the granules or add powdered granules to anything that requires heat. Heat destroys the live enzymes and reduces the nutrient value.
2. Powder an ounce or two of granules and add cinnamon to taste. Cinnamon adds a delightful spiciness and aroma to the sweetness of pollen.
3. Stir powdered granules into vegetable juices, or even into water sweetened with raw honey.
4.Whirl the granules into salad dressings.
5. Sprinkle whole granules on toast topped with honey, peanut or almond butter.
6. Sprinkle on your cereal or mix with milk
7. Sprinkle over yogurt or ice cream
8. Mix into beverages and protein shakes
