Almond flour is milled from all natural whole almonds and loaded with nutrients. It contains Vitamin E and magnesium and is low in carbohydrates.
Suggestions:
1. Replace up to 1/4 cup , per 1 cup of wheat flour with Shiloh almond flour called for in your favorite recipe
2. Because of high fat content, refrigeration is recommended. To extend shelf life, store Almond flour in your freezer.
3. You can make almond flour by grinding about 1/4 cup of almonds at a time until a fine texture, but stop before it turns into almond butter.
4. Almond flour works well in cakes, cookies, brownies and more.
5. When making pizza dough, breads and pasta, you may need to add gluten flour or tapicoa flour to get the traditional texture.
