Potatoes have been a staple crop in cultures around the world for thousands of years. Most often recognized for their carbohydrate content, they are an excellent source of Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, and potassium, among other vital nutrients.
To Prepare: Mix 3/4 cup water and 1 Tbsp. butter in pan. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and add 1/3 cup cold milk. Stir in 3/4 cup potato flakes. Makes 2 servings.
For creamier potatoes, add more liquid; for thicker potatoes use less liquid.
1. Use flakes to thicken soups, stews, sauces, & gravies.
2. Add flakes to breads, rolls, or other baked goods for a soft, delicate texture.
3. Make a batch of mashed potatoes for classic shepherd's pie.
4. Use flakes to feed sourdough starters.
5. Flakes make a great, crispy breading for chicken or fish.

Ingredients: Organic Potatoes (mono- & diglycerides from sustainable palm oil)
Mono- & diglycerides, naturally derived fatty acids, are used as an emulsifier to prevent potato flakes from being scorched during production. Potato flakes cannot be produced without the mono- & diglyercides. Shiloh Farms Potato Flakes use just .3%-.7% of mono- & diglycerides in their production.

I bought a small bag from my local grocery store to taste. It was great compared to the other brands that I had tried. I do long term food storage but was at wits end to find high quality potatoes to store in my #10 cans which were #1 ORGANIC, #2 Could buy in bulk and #3 Had a good taste. My problem has been solved. Delivery was very good also.

We've looked for reasonably priced organic instant potatoes ever since Walnut Acres sold their business, and haven't found anything but expensive, flavored potatoes. The Shiloh Farms potatoes smell good, taste good, and are reasonable priced for the 10 lb. bag. Thanks!

My son has asthma and allergies so his food choices are limited. These potato flakes have no preservatives. He eats a lot of potatoes and I wanted the healthiest instant potato flakes. Store bought potato flakes all have preservatives and do not taste as good as these do. He loves them! Thank you Shiloh Farms!
