1 cup Shiloh Farms BUCKWHEAT GROATS
1 Onion, finely chopped
1½ Tbsp. Tamari (natural soy sauce)
1/8 tsp.Pepper
1/8 tsp. Basil, crushed
2 c. Shiloh Farms instant potato flakes, cooked
2 c. creamed Corn
1 c. grated Cheese
Directions: Preheat Oven: 325ºF
Brown onions in oil. Roast buckwheat groats in a dry iron skillet Add 2 cups boiling water. Stir in onions and cover. Simmer 15 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in tamari, basil and pepper to taste. Prepare potato flakes. In large casserole dish, place a layer of cooked groat mixture, then a layer of corn, and finish with a layer of mashed potatoes. Garnish with cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes
Briefly broil cheese until browned.
